August Seasonal Market Shopping List: Get Your Local Fruits and Veggies

Time for your August seasonal market shopping list! It’s a bountiful month and you’ll really need it when you go out for local fruits and vegetables.

Grocery shopping can be daunting, there is so much to choose from in the produce section. To save money, most grocery stores ship foods in by bulk. Just because there is a big mound of something doesn’t mean it is local or even in season. Knowing what is seasonally available in your area can help you save money and time.

If you are a locavore or are just curious about what’s available this time of the year, you love this list 🙂
